Mortgage Sales Assessor

We are a fast-growing Mortgage and Secured loan Brokerage in the centre of Sheffield and are looking to add experienced Mortgage Sales Assessors to our team. The primary role of the Assessor is to call clients from a constant flow of on-line and introducer referred leads, assess the client needs and take a fact-find to enable the mortgage advisor to find the most suitable mortgage product for the client.

Salary DOE + Uncapped bonus

37.5 Hours Flexible Mon-Sat

This role would be suited to someone who is:

  • Experienced or who has experience working in a call-centre environment working inbound & outbound sales campaigns.
  • Preferably has some experience, though not essential, of the Financial Services industry either in completing and taking Mortgage fact-finds or other financial products.
  • Willing to work on a flexible rota of 37.5 hours per week to suit the needs of our customer’s requirements between Monday and Saturday.
  • Hungry to maximise their earnings with an achievable uncapped bonus scheme for over-achievement of targets.
  • Used to working in a fast-paced sales environment with a willingness to learn quickly.
  • You will be confident in speaking to clients over the phone and have a professional manner. You will be a highly motivated and sales driven individual with an ambition to earn a substantial commission.

Responsibilities:

To call customers in a timely manner from our state of the art CRM system who have applied to Friends Capital for either a Mortgage, Loan or Insurance policy. Other products will be added to our portfolio giving the candidate more opportunity to broaden their experience and bonus earning potential.

You will be responsible for managing your own workflow priorities and be expected to be on top of any new enquiries that appear throughout the working day. We work to a strict service level agreement with our clients and advisors which will be uppermost in your daily priorities.

Liaising with our mortgage & protection advisors you will also be expected to monitor their workflows in terms of case numbers, shift patterns, callbacks etc.

Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of sales experience within a call-centre or Mortgage Brokerage.

A basic understanding of mortgages. Experience of dealing with the general public by phone and electronic communication. PC skills including MS Excel and Word. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
